The Experience: How It Works
The Flyboard is an incredible water sports tool that mounts to your feet and uses the power of a jet ski to propel you through the sky or under the waves.
Learning is easier than you think! It’s all about weight distribution and balance—similar to riding a bike or surfing. Most beginners are hovering above the water within 5 to 20 minutes. After just a few hours of practice, you’ll be performing maneuvers, diving like a dolphin, and feeling like a superhero.
Common Questions & Flight Info
Who can participate?
Our equipment is designed for everyone! The Flyboard boots are adjustable (Men’s sizes 6–12), and we can accommodate riders up to 350 lbs. We use high-performance 1812cc Yamaha engines to ensure every rider has the power they need to soar.
How high can I fly?
Advanced riders can reach heights of 45 feet! For underwater maneuvers, we recommend staying within 8 feet of the surface for safety and ear comfort.
How fast is the Flyboard?
You can travel at speeds up to 18.5 mph both above and below the water’s surface.
Is an instructor required?
Yes. For your safety, a certified flight operator stays on the PWC (jet ski) to control the throttle and act as a spotter. This allows you to focus 100% on your balance and the incredible sensation of flight.
